How to Fix Slow Shutter Speed Image Blurring in Photoshop

In this photography & photoshop tutorial, learn how to fix slow shutter speed image blurring in photoshop. If you’re using a slow shutter speed (anything slower than 1/60 th second) you will need to either use a tripod or some type of image stabilization. In most cases you’ll certainly get blurry or unsharp images. This is because slow shutter speed is very difficult to use without getting any camera shake.

If you zoom into his eyes, You may notice some blurring. This happens when your camera is moving while the shutter is open.
Photoshop features an intelligent mechanism to automatically reduce image blurring caused by camera motion.

To get started, open the image you want to repair.
Select Filter > Sharpen > Shake Reduction.

Photoshop automatically analyzes the region of the image best suited for shake reduction, determines the nature of the blur, and estimate the appropriate corrections to the entire image.

The corrected image is displayed for your review in the Shake Reduction dialog.
You can also adjust the Smoothness and Artifact Suppression by moving the sliders.
If necessary, you can adjust advanced settings to further sharpen the image.

When you’re satisfied with your changes, click OK.
