How to Create Flat Cartoon Effect in Photoshop
In this photoshop photo effects tutorial, learn how to transform portraits into vector flat cartoon effect characters in photoshop. We will create this effect using native filters without pen tool or any selections.

Open a photo or portrait.

To convert photo into vector flat cartoon, first we need to draw edge outline.

Before that we need to even lighter and darker areas in the image to get clear edges.

Go to channels.

Red channel contains light information and blue channel contains shadow information, Whereas green channel contains both.
