Technicolor Film Style Look Tutorial in Photoshop
Technicolor filming is very popular in hollywood in 60’s
open image in new document.
go to channels and select red channel.
select all and copy. control + c.
and paste it in new layer. control +v.
renaming layer to red channel.
again go to channels and select green channel.
select all and copy.
and paste it in new layer.
renaming layer to green channel.
select new solid color adjustment layer.
choose RGB 0,255,255. it is cyan.
place it above green channel layer.
change blending to multiply.
again select new solid color adjustment layer.
choose RGB 255,0,0. it is red.
place it above red channel layer.
change blending to multiply.
now group only red channel layers and green channels separately.
and change red group layers blending to screen.
this is called technicolor film look effect.
now grouping all layers and naming red and cyan techicolor effect.
